语料补充

此处主要对 NotebookLM 中前期的部分语料进行使用方法补充。

具体用法

avert

1. 避免，防止：avert a crisis/disaster

2. 转移目光：avert one’s gaze

avert 后通常跟 负面结果类名词 。

stark

1. 鲜明的：stark contrast
2. 荒凉的：stark landscape
3. 严酷的：stark truth
4. 完全的：stark madness

obliterate

1. 彻底毁灭：obliterate the building
2. 抹去记忆：obliterate memory

obliterate语气极强，通常用于形容某物完全消失(强于devastate)，不适用于日常小事(obliterate homework mistakes)，强调完全性、强烈性和不可恢复性。

tumble 与 plunge

1. Tumble (滚动、跌跌撞撞)

• 常见用法：
  • 人或动物： He tumbled down the stairs.
  • 价格或股市： 指大幅度、连续地贬值。Stock prices tumbled after the news.
  • 明白真相： It took me a while, but I finally tumbled to the truth.

1. Plunge (猛冲、骤降)

• 常见用法：
  • 跳水/投掷： She plunged into the cold pool.（她纵身跳入冰冷的池水中。）
  • 抽象状态： 进入某种负面状态。The country was plunged into civil war.（国家陷入了内战。）
  • 数据骤降： 比 tumble 显得更猛烈、更彻底。The temperature plunged to -10°C overnight.（气温在夜间骤降至零下10度。）

maneuver 与 navigate

1. maneuver: 巧妙地移动 / 操控 / 处理（通常带有策略性）

常见用法：

• 物理移动：He maneuvered the car into a tight space.

• 在复杂局势中策略性应对或周旋：He maneuvered himself into a position of power.

1. navigate through：在复杂或困难环境中找到路径并通过，强调适应与前进

常见用法：

• 路径选择：He navigated his way through the forest.

• 克服困难：Students must navigate their way through challenges.

attitude, sentiment, stance 与 perspective

为了方便理解，我们可以设定一个场景：“公司实行了新的远程办公政策”。我们可以从不同的角度来描述大家对这一政策的反应：

Attitude	心理倾向与性格：指一个人对某事长期的、内在的看法（积极或消极）。	“She has a positive attitude toward remote work.” (她对远程办公持积极态度，这反映了她的价值观。)
Perspective	观察视角与认知：指因为身份、背景不同而产生的“看待问题的角度”。	“From a managerial perspective, remote work is hard to monitor.” (从管理者的角度看，远程办公很难监控。)
Sentiment	情绪波动与大众舆论：常用于社交媒体监控或市场调查，指某种“情绪基调”。	“The market sentiment suggests that employees prefer flexibility.” (市场情绪/舆论导向表明员工更喜欢灵活性。)
Stance	公开立场与阵营：指在争议性话题中，某人或机构明确选择的“站位”。	“The government took a firm stance against permanent remote work.” (政府明确表示反对永久远程办公。)
